Here's a sample of what custom fixed gear can be with Mr. Gilbert of Simple Cyclery. If you don't want to struggle with all the hassle of waiting for the frame, painting and getting all the right parts, you can just leave it to this bike shop and they will build the bike you want in mind. Plus is the custom stickers on this build like it's a gag for a real Bianchi Pista to Biach Pisti! XD

Happy to blog again..

Hi guys, It's been a week since my recent post here, we've just been hit by a heavy rainfall here in Manila last week and got flooded for almost a week. good thing the skies provided us a good weather last Sunday which gave me a chance to ride through Ride and Rock Relief  2 (Hopefully be posted tomorrow). Here's a pic by Aeon Barrameda of the old look of my ride and my essentials.
Thanks Aeon!

NJS Mondays: Why NJS?

The (Keirin) frames, no matter what brand, are always of the highest quality. When you’re thinking about a used keirin frame, think about everything that went into it. The racer orders the frame according to his personal preferences, ones that he’s developed after racing for up to 30 years. Even with that status he will pay anywhere from $1000 to $2500 for a frame. There are no sponsorships in keirin racing. He chooses the frame tubing (now usually Kasei or Columbus), lugs, and paint, too. After that he waits, weeks or months for the builder to finish.” - Keirinculture.com via fixedgearbikes

Just completed the bike last week and presented it to her as a birthday gift. as a big anime fan and a cosplayer, she decided to name the bike as Chops, a short term for her favorite one piece character, Tony Tony Chopper. The ride was very light and aggressive. Thanks to the 74 degree angles and a very good carbon fork. So happy to see my girl mashing the bike and skidding it on the asphalt.
