Rides: Sierra Madre Loop

On a fine Saturday morning, the supposed long ride of at least 10 riders narrowed down to 5. We're ready to face a new road route which is just beside Manila. I personally been on this place a lot of times but with my motorcycle and not with a bike. So as the ride started, I thought it would be an easy one as I'm a bit familiar with the corners and climbs. Too bad, it was so different and rather hell for all of us. We've completed the 92kms ride (from my GPS app btw the guys from Manila probably got 100kms) with an 889m gain and 641m Max Elevation along with the sun, rain, storm and mud.

Check out the some pictures and details after the cut

One of the first Colossi builds from Tryon, Franco showcased a simple but mean build of his Al Colossione. This frame is a beauty showcasing a standard headtube and comes out as a classy build for the city. Cranks are of course Sugino Messenger to match up the lightness of the frameset and risers for commuting. I should say that this is one clean build for the latest drops of Colossi framesets here in Manila and deserves a bike check for my blog. Good vibes, Good rides! Have a nice wednesday ride.

Bisik'tela Manila

Bisik'tela is getting the hype recently and probably one of the best-looking and comfortable cycling caps locally made and locally available. Made by MFG partners Jzn and I, All of their products are handcrafted with all care and with prime materials. They recently made and released some limited colorways and designs to keep their products fresh and different. Check out this bicycle pattern design I just bought from them.

I find the cap comfortable for it's material and snug fit for me. This one doesn't have the usual garter at the back like the usual cycling cap does but I haven't check their newer models if it does. The cotton makes it cool even if you wear it under your helmet plus it keeps absorbing the sweat on my hair. The bill is a bit longer but it has it's own design on the side so if you turn the bill upwards, it prevents the usual tear on the sides that it will cause on the traditional cycling cap. Bisik'tela now has 5 panel designs and I'm sure they'll go with the dome in the future. I give this a 4/5 for it's comfort, material and it's design.

Check out the Bisik'tela facebook page for more products and info.
